This release features two tracks, 'Getting High' by Tugg, and 'Smokeless Machine' from Felix Dickinson.

Tugg is the drummer for many of London's top bands and has toured with everyone from the Basement Jaxx and Faze Action to Lady Soveriegn and Kano. He is also a producer in his own right having done tracks for labels such as Atlantic Jaxx, Vinyl Junkies and most recently Urban Myth.

Tugg and Felix have been friends for a while and started collabourating musically with the Snakeskin project that was released on Atlantic Jaxx last year.

This release for Cynic started life as the followup single for Snakeskin, but after the pair of them went back to there respective studios to work on Dub mixes it turned into something completly differant, as they both decided to ditch all the parts from the Snakeskin track and came back with a pair of completely original tracks.

'Getting High' is a tough little number with an infectious bassline and pitch shifted vocals. This track bears signs of Tuggy's time spent touring with the Basement Jaxx, and was inspired by a night with them at the Lux club in Lisbourne (in fact Felix B of the Jaxx vibed on it to contribute to the final mix).

'Smokeless Machine' by Felix Dickinson is a squelchy monster of a track with bongo's flying in and out of the mix and proper 303 twistedness.

After the great responce of the vinyl release of Cynicism last year now comes the C.D. edition mixed by Felix Dickinson.

This C.D. features some of the best tracks off the first few releases on Cynic plus 5 of the best tracks from the vinyl edition blended seemlessly for your listening pleasure.
